The Experience

Before You Go

Wear sturdy closed-toe shoes

Expect short uphill hikes and uneven rock at platforms—trail runners or hiking shoes are best.

No loose items or cameras on the lines

Lockers are provided—leave phones and hats behind to protect others and avoid fines.

Confirm shuttle pickup time

Pickup times and tour time differ—arrive on time or you may forfeit your seat; drivers keep a strict schedule.

Local Knowledge

Hidden Gems

  • Arrive early to catch quieter light on the canyon rims for better photos taken by the pro photographers.
  • Ask guides about nearby agave patches and small family-owned distilleries for extended tequila tours after your zipline session.

Wildlife

  • Mexican ground squirrel
  • Various small raptors (hawks) soaring the canyon thermals

Conservation Note

Operations emphasize minimal impact—stay on marked trails and use provided lockers to prevent litter; the operator limits tour sizes and trains staff in safe, low-impact rigging practices.

Canopy Costa Azul introduced ziplining to the Los Cabos corridor over 20 years ago, helping develop adventure tourism in the region while partnering with local communities for guides and services.
