The Experience

Before You Go

Layer for quick weather shifts

Temperatures can drop sharply; have a windproof shell and an insulating midlayer that you can stow in a small pack.

Secure electronics with tethers

Bring a wrist or chest tether for cameras and phones—loose items are not allowed and are easily lost in the forest.

Know weight limits before booking

All participants must list weight when booking and be between 70–280 lbs; failing to do so can result in denied participation.

Arrive early for pickup and briefing

Hotel pickup is provided from select Denali-area lodgings; arrive at your pickup point 10–30 minutes before scheduled time to avoid delays.

Conservation Note

Operators limit footprint with elevated platforms and defined trails; visitors are asked to stay on routes, avoid disturbing vegetation, and pack out all waste.
