The Experience

Before You Go

Bring a change of clothes

Expect dust on dry days and a splash at El Salto — a dry set of clothes and a towel make the ride back comfortable.

Closed-toe shoes only

ATVs and short hikes require sturdy footwear with grip — sandals are not permitted for safety reasons.

Hydrate before you go

Mountain air and sun drain energy; drink water pre-ride and bring a small refillable bottle for shuttle breaks.

Weight and age limits enforced

Zipline and ATV weight and minimum age rules are strict — check limits and bring ID to avoid last-minute issues.

Local Knowledge

Hidden Gems

  • Side trail viewpoint just off the bridge with fewer crowds at late afternoon light
  • Natural plunge pool at the base of El Salto that’s quieter than the main viewing area

Wildlife

  • Coatimundi (white-nosed coati)
  • Tropical birds such as kingfishers and raptors

Conservation Note

Stick to marked trails, pack out trash, and avoid disturbing wildlife; operators often support local community initiatives and limit group sizes to reduce impact.

The Jorullo Bridge and surrounding roads were developed to improve access to mountain communities and showcase the area’s natural features; the bridge itself draws visitors for its scale and views.
