The Experience

Before You Go

Wear closed-toe shoes

Secure, flat-soled shoes will keep your feet stable on towers, ladders and when stepping into the harness.

Hydrate before arrival

Bring a water bottle and drink before your run—there’s sun and exertion on the course and limited shade between segments.

Book pickup in advance

Hotel pickup is offered from most Negril and Montego Bay hotels—call to confirm your pickup time the day before.

Tether small cameras

If you need photos, secure devices with a wrist or neck strap; guides can advise when it’s safe to use them.

Local Knowledge

Hidden Gems

  • Wetland boardwalks where tidal channels attract herons and snipes early morning
  • A quiet overlook near the clubhouse with sweeping views of the Caribbean—great for sunset photos

Wildlife

  • Green iguana
  • Great egret and other wading birds

Conservation Note

The park protects pockets of wetland and grassland; visitors are asked to stay on marked paths, avoid feeding wildlife, and follow guide instructions to minimize disturbance.

The Westmoreland coastal plain was historically a center of sugar cultivation; many ranch and property boundaries reflect former plantation parcels repurposed for tourism and conservation.
